Pakistani Women are certainly bestowed with those exceptional characteristics which distinguish her from women of other countries in the region. National Hero Foundation came into existence to acknowledge and honor the greatest Pakistanis who have left perennial impressions on our history. While brainstorming the ideas it was noted that there were traditions since ages to appreciate and acknowledge men folk but no exclusive efforts for women. With this spur, the management of NHF decided to institute a separate program to acknowledge and honor exceptional women of Pakistan from all walks of life. On 31st January, 2011 NHF laid the foundation of “Wonder Women Awards of the Year” through a press conference at Karachi Press Club with following objectives;
